Rhode Island Plan Rates Increase in 2017
Rhode Island is the few states expected to experience a decrease in rates. Blue Cross has requested a small increase (comparatively speaking,) and Neighborhood Health Plan requested a decrease in rates. Overall, the weighted average increase will be 1.3 percent, which is significantly lower than the national average.
